Karthi Dons Multiple Looks In This Spy Thriller, Sardar (Tamil)

In his upcoming film Sardar, Karthi plays a spy who has entered the Indian army confiscation vault, which holds all confidential information sourced by the Indian intelligence. The teaser reveals that he is also known by a code name — Sardar. The film will be released in theatres this Diwali.

Sardar is directed by PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai (2018) fame. The film, which co-stars Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan, has music by GV Prakash Kumar. While George C Williams is behind the camera, Ruben has done the cuts. Produced by S Lakshman Kumar, the story has been penned by M.R Pon Parthipan, Roju and Bipin Ragu.

Chiranjeevi's Brahma Fights For Power in God Father trailer (Telugu)

God Father is the remake of Malayalam hit political drama Lucifer (2019). The film is centered around a political party and the power battle that follows after its leader passes away. When Chief Minister of the state PKR dies, the party members fight internally for power. Everyone who appears nice is not really nice, the trailer warns us.

Helmed by Mohan Raja, God Father co-stars Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev. The story is by Murali Gopy and the dialogues are penned by Lakshmi Bhupala. The film is produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad. Thaman S has scored the music and Nirav Shah has handled the cinematography.

Coffee With Kadhal, A Chaotic Romcom (Tamil)

The trailer of Sundar C's upcoming was released recently, and it promises a chaotic romcom. Coffee With Kadhal is centered around a wedding. Jai and Malvika Sharma are engaged to each other. However, when his friend Jiiva falls in love with Sharma, a love triangle ensues. But the complication in their love lives does not stop there. With a wedding inching close by, each person in this tempestuous group tries to find out their true love and plot ways to stop the wedding.

Helmed by Sundar C, Coffee With Kadhal also stars Aishwarya Dutta, Dhivyadarshini, and Samyuktha Shanmugam. The film is produced by Avni Cinemax & Benzz Media and is distributed by Red Giant Movies. The film has cinematography by E Krishnasamy and edits by Fenny Oliver.

After 79 days of filming in 56 locations across Kerala, B Unnikrishnan directorial Christopher has wrapped up. The Aaraattu director shared the news on his social media. Written by Udaykrishna, the film is said to be an investigative thriller and the film also stars Amala Paul in a lead role. Justin Varghese has composed the music for the film while the cinematography is handled by Faiz Siddik.

Kireeti Reddy’s debut film is titled Junior (Kannada and Telugu)

Helmed by Radhakrishna Reddy of Mayabazar fame, this film is billed to be a family entertainer. The title of the film was launched during actor Kireeti Reddy’s birthday celebration. The film is produced by Sai Korrapati and co-stars Sreeleela, Genelia D’Souza and Ravichandran in major roles. Devi Sri Prasad has scored its music.

Swathimuthyam is a romantic entertainer starring Ganesh Bellamkonda and Varsha Bollamma (Telugu)

Directed by Lakshman K Krishna, Swathimuthyam is a fun-filled tale of love. The trailer opens with sweet, happy romantic moments but the tone soon shifts when a big problem arises. This romantic entertainer is slated to be released on October 5.

This film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner Sithara Entertainments and stars Ganesh Bellamkonda and Varsha Bollamma in the lead roles. Navin Nooli has handled the editing while Surya Teja Musunuru is the cinematographer.

Aadi Sai Kumar in and as CSI Sanatan - First Evidence (Telugu)

The teaser of this investigative crime thriller gives one a glimpse into its intriguing world by explaining what a CSI does. It opens with the question of who is Sanatan?

Written and directed by Sivashankar Dev, the film stars Aadi Sai Kumar and Misha Narang in lead roles. The film is produced by Ajay Srinivas under the banner Chaganti Productions.

Month of Madhu teaser feat. Naveen Chandra and Swathi Reddy (Telugu)

Helmed by Srikanth Nagothi, Month of Madhu takes one through the journey of falling out of love. The teaser opens with a character falling in love with Madhu and wanting to be with him to her seeking a divorce twenty years later. When asked about the reason for divorce, she says that 20 years of pain cannot be explained in 20 minutes.

Written by Srikanth Nagothi, the film stars Naveen Chandra and Swathi Reddy in lead roles. The film is produced by Yaswanth Mulukutla under the banners Krishiv Production and Handpicked Stories. Achu Rajamani has composed the music, and lyrics are penned by K K.

Aishwarya Lekshmi starrer Kumari unveils a world of horror and magic (Malayalam)

Helmed by Nirmal Sahadev, the teaser of Kumari draws one into a world of fables and legends. It opens with Prithviraj reading a story about Kumari, a girl who is married off to a cursed land where people sacrifise lives to protect their traditions. The dark magical world is filled with curses of gods and demons.

It is written by Nirmal Sahadev and Fazal Hameed. The film is produced under Prithviraj Productions and stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shine Tom Chacko, Swasika in pivotal roles.

Raghava Lawrence’s Rudhran release gets pushed (Tamil)

The release of choreographer and actor Raghava Lawrence’s much awaited film Rudhran has been postponed to April 2023. The makers annouced that the decision was due a delay to VFX works, which is in the works. This action entertainer is directed and produced by Kathiresan and stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead.

Shaakuntalam to be released in 3D (Telugu)

The makers of Samantha Ruth Prabhu's mythological drama Shaakuntalam recently announced that the film will be released in 3D format. It is an adaptation of Kalidasa’s play Abhijnana Shakuntalam. Helmed by Gunasekhar, the film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Jayathirtha weaves one of a kind love story in Banaras (Kannada)

The film's trailer transports one into the culturally rich city of Banaras. As Siddhartha and Dani fall in love while exploring Banaras, the city itself becomes the film's lead character. The film is slated to be released on November 4.

Written and directed by Jayathirtha, the film stars Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro in lead roles.

First single from Dasara will be released this Dasara (Telugu)

The first single from Nani starrer Dasara will released on the occasion of Dasara. The actor called it the massiest local street song ever and shared a video on his social media. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh. The film is slated to be released on March 30, 2023.
