God Father Trailer Talk: Chiranjeevi's Brahma Fights For Power

God Father is the remake of Malayalam hit political drama Lucifer (2019). The film is centered around a political party and the power battle that follows after its leader passes away. Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan and Nayanthara play the roles essayed by Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier from the original.

When Chief Minister of the state PKR dies, the party members fight internally for power. Everyone who appears nice is not really nice, the trailer warns us. There are several possible candidates, and among them are Sathyapriya Jaidev (Nayanthara) and Brahma (Chiranjeevi) who lead the race.

Though several party members are in support of Brahma, he is trapped in a case and arrested. Since the evidence is strong, the party doesn't support him either. But it looks like nothing can stop the God Father. After a fight inside the prison, Brahma says, "I might be away from politics but politics will never be away from me."

Salman Khan comes to rescue his brother Brahma, and both take down enemies together. The trailer gives us glimpses of several fights and mass moments. The plot also involves drug dealers, who seem to have a deal with politicians for smooth illegal trade.

Will Brahma aka God Father become the leader, fighting all obstacles? The film is slated to hit the theatres on October 5.
