It offers a glimpse into the film's world where we see the cast of the film in action. In a blink-and-you-miss collection of frames, this teaser doesn't offer much insight into the story or characters, but sets the tone for the grand design of the film. We see Jr. NTR chasing, Ajay Devgn shooting, Ram Charan fighting, the British colonising and more.
Recently, makers of RRR, also launched their promotions campaign, in a collaboration with the theater chain, PVR, unveiling a new logo that reads – PVRRR. This logo will be seen in close to 850 screens in over 70 cities across India for the next few months.
Over the last year, we have seen motion posters and the characters – Bheem (Jr. NTR), Ramaraju (Ram Charan) and Sita (Alia Bhatt) and Ajay Devgn's character have been introduced in short glimpses. A single, 'Dosti', was also released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The song composed by M.M.Keeravani, sung by Hema Chandra, Anirudh Ravichandar, Vijay Yesudas, Yazin Nazir and Amit Trivedi, is a song about brotherhood and friendship.
In other making videos, we see grand and opulent sets. The film is set in pre-independence India and is a fictional tale based on two greatest revolutionaries from different generations – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
Produced by Dasari Veera Venkata Danayya of DVV Entertainments, RRR was originally slated to release on January 8, 2021, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. With many delays owing to the pandemic, the film will have its theatrical release on January 7, 2022.
