New Single ‘Dosti’ From RRR Celebrates Friendship, In 5 Languages

The makers of SS Rajamouli's RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR and one of the most anticipated pan-Indian films, have release a single from the film 'Dosti' in five languages sung by five star singers: Anirudh Ravichander (Tamil), Amit Trivedi (Hindi), Vijay Yesudas (Malayalam), Hema Chandra (Telugu) and Yazin Nizar (Kannada).

The song is along the lines of 'Dheevara' from the first part of Baahubali but with greater flourish, and the video is impressively shot with visuals of MM Keeravani performing on the violin with his orchestra. Near the end of the music video, all five singers from the different languages come together with a surprise cameo by Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the end.

RRR releases theatrically on October 13, 2021. Recently, the makers released a video "The Roar of RRR"  that shows the film's grand, energetic and opulent making. Set in pre-Independence India at the time of violent revolutionary activity against the British, we are shown visuals of the film's shooting in the video.

Set to MM Keeravani's energetic background score and rap lyrics by Blaaze, the making video suggests that the scale and vision of RRR would match or even exceed that of Baahubali. The film has cinematography by K. K. Senthil Kumar and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The film's story is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad with dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra.

On October 6 last year, the team behind Roudram! Ranam! Rudhiram! (RRR) had posted an update on the film's progress by giving us a making video. This was followed by an update introducing us to one of the two lead characters in the film. Later, the first look of Alia Bhatt's Sita and Ajay Devgn's character was released. The cast of the film includes Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Shriya Saran.

Produced by Dasari Veera Venkata Danayya of DVV Entertainments, RRR was originally slated to release on January 8, 2021, in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil. The film will have its theatrical release on 13 October 2021.
