Ishaan Khatter shares his experience of working with Nicole Kidman on Netflix Series The Perfect Couple

Ishaan Khatter has shared his experience of working with Academy Award winning actor Nicole Kidman on the Netflix series The Perfect Couple. Khatter plays Shooter Dival, the groom Benji Winbury’s (Billy Howle) best friend.

Speaking about his experience of working with Kidman who plays the groom’s mother Greer Garrison Winbury, Khatter said, “I’ve shot a large part of it and it’s my foray into Hollywood. It’s been a great experience. Of course, Nicole is one of the most iconic film stars that we all know and we love in India as well.” The actor who was speaking on the sidelines of the Jagran Film Festival added, “So, I understand that there’s a lot of curiosity about her. And there are many more awesome cast members, wonderful actors. And that will also be out for the people to see on Netflix next year.”

The series is an adaptation of a book by the same name by Elin Hilderbrand and is directed by Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier. The limited series tells the story of Amelia (Hewson) who is engaged to marry into a wealthy family from Nantucket, much to the disapproval of her fiance’s mother (Kidman). But when a dead body washes up on the morning of their wedding, police investigations reveal many unpleasant secrets.

Khatter will also be seen in the film Pippa, which is the biopic of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, who fought along with his siblings in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. The film directed by Raja Krishna Menon, is based on Mehta’s book ‘The Burning Chaffees’.
