The Night Manager: Sobhita Dhulipala Talks About Playing Characters that ask for Depth

In an interview with Film Companion, Sobhita Dhulipala recently spoke about why she is being offered serious roles by directors. The actress also spoke about her character in the series also starring Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. 

“I have thought about it seems like a pattern, I don't quite know why but then some of my most favorite actors have played parts that embody grief so beautifully that i think it's quite wonderful to be given character that asks for depth, that asks for that current, moving breathing current, because grief is love that has nowhere to go, so i think that is quite nice, I think I’d like to look at it that way.” 

Directed by Sandeep Modi, the series is an adaptation of the British television series with the same name directed by Susanne Bier, The Night Manager will stream on Disney+Hotstar from February 17
