Aashiqui 3 Makers Allege 'campaign of misinformation' against Kartik Aaryan Film

Vishesh Films has issued a public notice warning people against 'indivisuals and companies' making fraudulent claims on behalf of the company and in relation to the Aashiqui franchise. The production house had announced in September last year that Kartik Aaryan would play the leading man in Aashiqui 3, the third film in their popular Aashiqui franchise.

A statement issued by the company said, “It has come to our notice that a campaign of misrepresentation and misinformation is being carried out by individuals, groups and organisations making unsubstantiated claims on behalf of our company or our franchise, Aashiqui. Vishesh Films is known to have a strong brand of launching young talent and protecting their interests and wants to prevent them from becoming victims to third parties unknowingly. Hence, in the public interest and being a responsible legacy studio and production house we issued the public notice to protect and make individuals and companies aware to not trust anything that is not directly or officially from Vishesh Films and treat them as false claim."

Aashiqui 3 is the third film in the franchise after Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal starrer Aashiqui (1990) and Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Aashiqui 2 (2013). Aashiqui 3 will be directed by Anurag Basu.
