Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor announce filming for Stree 2

The makers of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 have finally announced that the shooting of the film has begun. Kapoor shared a video and captioned it as, Ek baar phir चंदेरी में फैला aatank!😱स्त्री २ filming begins! Aa rahi hai woh- August 2024!

The video begins with the famous dialogue from Stree, “O Stree Kal aana” which changes to “O Stree Raksha Karna”. The film is expected to release in August 2024. Directed by Amar Kaushik who also directed Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya, the film has music by Sachin-Jigar. Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles.

Rao will next be seen in Guns & Gulaabs, Mr. & Mrs Mahi and The Crew while Kapoor’s line up includes Chandu Champion with Kartik Aaryan.
