Kartik Aaryan to start filming for Aashiqui 3 in January 2024

Producer Bhushan Kumar has confirmed filming for Aashiqui 3, directed by Anurag Basu and starring Kartik Aaryan, will begin by the end of January 2024.

In an interview with India Today, Kumar said, “Hopefully, we will start Anurag Basu and Kartik Aaryan’s film by the end of January. As the pre-production work for the film continues, special attention is being paid to the music compositions. Music has always been an integral part of the Aashiqui universe, and the team is committed to delivering a memorable musical experience once again."

Aashiqui 3 is the third film in the franchise after Aashiqui (1990), starring Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal and Aashiqui 2 (2013), which starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The makers have not yet confirmed who the leading lady of Aashiqui 3 will be.

This will be Basu's first collaboration with Aaryan.
