Ghani Teaser Talk: You Make History Only If You Win

Makers of the upcoming Telugu film, Ghani, have released a teaser today introducing the story of this sports drama. The film is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati, starring Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar. 

The teaser, narrated by Ram Charan, begins by saying that everyone's lives have ups and downs but everyone also wants to be a champion. But the winner can only be one. He asks, "Why you?" and Ghani (Varun Tej) is introduced in a montage where we see him training to be a boxer. The teaser ends by saying that if you play a game or lose a game, you'll stay in the records. But only if you win, will you remain in history.

This film marks director Kiran Korrapati's debut after being the co-director for films like Antariksham 9000kmph, Tholiprema and Shankar Dada MBBS. Varun Tej is currently shooting for F3: Fun and Frustration. Saiee Manjrekar also stars in the upcoming biopic, Major, based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. 

Previously, a video introduced all the characters in the world of Ghani. Alongside the lead pair, the film casts Nadhiya, Naresh,Tanikella Bharani, Naveen Chandra, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu and Upendra. 

Last month, a song titled 'Ghani Anthem' also released calling Ghani a never-seen-before force. The song was penned by Ramjogayya Sastry. Music for the film is composed by Thaman S.

George C. Williams has been roped in as the cinematographer and Marthand K Ventakesh is the editor. The film is produced by Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda and is being presented by Allu Aravind. Allu Bobby at a recent event said "I have travelled with this story for a very long time and it gives me immense pleasure that Ghani is my first film production venture."

After delays owing to the pandemic, the film is set to release in theaters on December 24.
