Simran, Revathi and Nandita Das to star in new series Notorious Girls

The streaming space in India is allowing women of all ages to explore challenging roles, the recent example of the same has been the collaboration of Simran, Revathi and Nandita Das for their upcoming streaming show Notorious Girls, helmed by Shonali Bose. As per a report in Pinkvilla, Amazon Prime Video is collaborating with Pritish Nandy Communications to make a coming-of-age drama series

Sharing more details a source said, “It’s a college story revolving around friendships among youngsters. Many new girls are being launched with this show; however, their details have been kept under wraps at this moment. While it’s largely centred around the characters of these new girls, Simran, Revathi, and Nandita Das play pivotal roles. The production of the show has already begun, and it’s currently being shot at Delhi University’s Miranda House.”

The first schedule is likely to be wrapped by the end of this week in Delhi, following which the unit will move to Mumbai to continue filming.
