Satish Kaushik’s last film Kaagaz 2, starring Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta is in post-production

Kaagaz 2, starring Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Smriti Kalra, Anang Desai, Neena Gupta and Satish Kaushik in his last appearance as an actor, is now in post-production. The film is a sequel to Kaagaz (2021) starring Pankaj Tripathi, which Kaushik directed.

Kaagaz 2 is directed by VK Prakash. The film’s shoot was completed in January this year, just months before Kaushik’s untimely demise. The film reportedly highlights the struggles of a common man whose right to life is infringed upon by protests and rallies.

Ratan Jain of Venus Films gave Bollywood Hungama an update about Kaagaz 2 and said, "Yes it’s true that the post-production of Kaagaz 2 is almost finished. It’s an important project for me as Kaagaz was appreciated a lot by the audience. Satish Ji was a dear friend and this film was immensely close to his heart. When I saw the film, I realised the outcome is excellent and will impress and move audiences much like the first instalment."

Kaushik will also be seen posthumously in the upcoming Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs created by Raj and DK.
