Hombale Films, the banner under which Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire is being made, has shared an official announcement about the film's new release date. The film, which was originally supposed to be released on September 28, will now hit theatres on December 22.
The makers shared a new poster of Prabhas with the announcement, where the actor is seen soaked in blood and holding a knife in his hand.
With this official announcement, Hombale Films has set up a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki, which is also scheduled to release on the same date.
Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire also stars Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner.
