Adipurush, a highly anticipated film, failed to succeed at the box office. Audiences criticised the film’s writing, VFX and inappropriate characterisation of religiously significant figures.
The film starred Prabhas as Lord Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Lakshman, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. The film was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair and directed by Om Raut.
