Oppenheimer hits the 150 crore mark at the Indian box office

Oppenheimer, based on the life and work of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who created the atomic bomb, has earned over 150 crores at the Indian box office. The film was released in India on July 21 and continues to draw audiences to the theatre. Oppenheimer boasts spectacular visuals, a spellbinding narrative and scintillating performances by the talented star cast. 

Oppenheimer stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh in key roles. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan, one of Hollywood’s most respected filmmakers. 

Inspite of competition from another Hollywood film, Barbie, and Indian films Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Gadar 2 and OMG 2, Oppenheimer continues to hold its own at the box office.
