I’m very confident that I might not end up offending anybody: Nitesh Tiwari on his next feature Ramayana

In an interview with Zoom Entertainment, Nitesh Tiwari said he’s confident that he won’t end up offending anyone with his Ramayana. Recently Om Raut’s Adipurush received severe backlash on how the movie portrayed the epic.

When asked if he’s afraid of offending anyone with the film, Tiwari said, “My question is very simple. I am also a consumer of the content that I create and if I’m not going to offend myself then I’m very confident that I might not end up offending anybody else.”

Tiwari also revealed that the cast for the film will be revealed soon. There were reports that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat were offered the lead roles for the film.

Tiwari is currently promoting Bawaal which stars Varun Dhawan and Janhavi Kapoor. The film streams exclusively on Prime Video from July 21.
