Baipan Bhari Deva Sequel Titled Aaipan Bhari Deva Announced

Jio Studios and filmmaker Kedar Shinde have yet again collaborated for their upcoming film Aaipan Bhari Deva, a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Marathi film Baipan Bhari Deva featuring Rohini Hattangady, Vandana Gupte, Suchitra Bandekar, Sukanya Kulkarni, Shilpa Navalkar and Deepa Parab in lead roles.

Baipan Bhari Deva is a story of six estranged sisters who reunite for a cultural dance competition called ‘Mangalagaur’ eventually overcoming their individual life struggles and building a strong bond of sisterhood.

Written by Vaishali Naik and directed by Shinde, the film collected ₹89.6 crore in 45 days worldwide. As of August 13 2023 the film grossed over ₹92 crore globally, becoming the second highest Marathi grosser of all time after Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh starrer Ved (2022).

The makers have now announced a sequel titled, Aaipan Bhari Deva, celebrating the journey of womanhood. Sharing the official poster on the occasion of International Woman’s Day, the handle writes, Jio Studios and Kedar Shinde once again partner to unveil another empowering journey of womanhood with AAIPAN BHARI DEVA 💃🌟 #AAIPANBHARIDEVA #InternationalWomensDay

Aaipan Bhari Deva is scheduled to release in 2025.
