FC Front Row: It is an Insecure Profession says Abhay Deol on Resilience in Acting

During the FC Front Row Session, Abhay Deol whose web series Trial By Fire dropped on Netflix on January 13 spoke about the resilience that an actor requires to pursue the acting profession.

Talking about the same, Deol said, “It is an insecure profession, it doesn't give you the security that other jobs would provide, and it is not a 9-5 job.”

Deol and his co-star Rajshri Deshpande who played his wife Neelam Krishnamoorthy in the series, gave an insight into the several pros and cons of the profession.

Directed by Prashant Nair and Kevin Luperchio, Trial By Fire also stars Anupam Kher, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles.

The series is based on the 'Uphaar Fire Tragedy' that took place at the Uphaar Cinema in Delhi in the year 1997 killing 59 people of asphyxiation.
