Thank You For Coming Box Office Collection: Bhumi Pednekar-Starrer Fails To Impress

Karan Boolani’s sex comedy has unfortunately had a poor showing at the box office. Thank You For Coming, which was screened at TIFF earlier this year, focuses on female pleasure and stars Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh and Shibani Bedi. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.

The film pulled in Rs. 1.06 crore on opening day. The numbers barely climbed over the weekend, earning Rs. 1.56 crore on Saturday and Rs. 1.67 on Sunday. According to Sacnilk Entertainment, Thank You For Coming currently has a collection of Rs. 4.29 crore, and is estimated to earn around Rs. 85 lakh on Monday.

Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, Akshay Kumar’s rescue film which was released on the same day, fared slightly better at the box office. The film earned Rs. 2.8 crore on Friday, nearly doubling its collection over the weekend with Rs 4.50 crore on Saturday and Rs. 4.85 on Sunday. Mission Raniganj now stands at Rs. Rs 12.15 crore.
