These days it feels like a real challenge to keep up with what's dropping when on which platform. With new streaming players and show announcements popping up all the time, it feels nigh on impossible to keep up to date with all the latest from the world of streaming. That said, March seems to be quite the exciting month, with a great range of promising shows and movies across platforms, from the big names of Prime Video and Netflix to the smaller Indian players like Zee5 and Eros Now. Here are our picks of what's releasing this month across platforms

Netflix 

Jimmy Carr: The Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits

When: March 12th

One of the world's most celebrated comedians returns with his next special, serving up the most outrageous jokes from his stand-up career.

Triple Frontier

When: March 13th

Great cast, compelling trailer, Oscar Isaac, what more could you ask for? Netflix' latest original film, an action-thriller heist flick, stars Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam and Pedro Pascal among others. It looks like the just the kind of edge-of-your-seat, high stakes ride you'd need at the end of a long day.

Arrested Development: Season 5B

When: March 15th

Netflix continues its slew of reviving beloved shows a la Gillmore Girls and Fuller House with the second part of Season 5 of Arrested Development. The lovably absurd Bluth family return, armed with more whacked out adventures, including but not limited to –  a murder trial, building a 'smart' border wall and dealing with the gay mafia.

When: March 22nd

Another Indian original series on Netflix and another reason to be excited. India In A Day's Richie Mehta offers a gripping series centred on the Delhi gang-rape saga that shook the nation. Add to that a strong cast including Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal and Adil Hussain,

LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS

When: March 15th

An animated anthology from Deadpool's Tim Miller and David Fincher? Tell me that doesn't sound cool as hell. A series of 18 animated shorts which play with visuals and animation style from two exciting creative minds is enough to sell us. Not to mention that explosive trailer.

Amazon Prime Video

When: March 8th

The show that's got everyone talking. Being hailed as one of the best web series to come out India, the latest from Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti offers one of the strongest ensembles of actors we've seen.

Colette

When: March 8th

This Keira Knightly-starrer tells the true story of French author Colette who ghost-wrote her husband's widely beloved novels. A timely tale, Colette is the story of a woman who was denied her voice and yet refused to accept the status quo.

Catastrophe Season 4

When: March 15th

The final season of the Emmy-nominated comedy about the woes of parenting heads to Prime Video for its final season. The show focuses on a school teacher and ad executive who's brief fling during a business trip leads to an unexpected pregnancy and a whole new life to deal with.

Cold War

When: March 22nd

Widely considered one of the best films of 2018, the Oscar-nominated Polish film centres on a love story between two people of different backgrounds set against the background of the Cold War in the 1950s.

Hanna

When: March 29th

The popular movie about a teenage assassin-like figure which starred Saoirse Ronan gets the series treatment on Prime Video. It tells of a young girl on the run, as she evades the CIA whilst trying to find out the truth behind who she really is.

Metro Park

When: March 3rd

In a world where Netflix and Amazon are looming tall and dominating the streaming conversation, Eros Now is an increasingly promising contender in the Indian originals space. Their latest is a comedy about a crazy Gujarati family residing in the US starring Ranvir Shorey and Omi Vaidya among others. Watch the hilarious trailer below:

Gotham Season 5

The final season of one of the most underrated 'superhero shows' which has been constantly delivering since its first season. The Batman-origin story about a young Bruce Wayne promises to end with a bang.

Sex, Drugs & Theatre

When: March 5th

One of the most prolific producers of Indian originals, Zee5 only seems to be increasing its output over time. March appears to be one of their busiest months yet with a bunch of shows and movies alike, starting with Sex Drugs And Theatre, a Marathi series from National-award winning filmmaker Sujay Dahake.

The Sholay Girl

When: March 8th

At the very least a fascinating concept, ZEE5's latest original film tells the story of Reshma Pathan, Bollywood's first stunt woman.

377 Abh Normal

When: 19th March

An original film which takes you through the events leading to the petition that lead to the Supreme Court's historic verdict to repeal article 377 and de-criminalise homosexuality. The film stars Maanvi Gagroo and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub among others.
