After Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, Ajith joins hands with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for the third time. The film is tentatively titled AK61. The makers call it an action-adventure film and the shooting began in Hyderabad on April 11.
777 Charlie, directed by Kiranraj K, is expected to hit the theatres on June 10. The story is about Dharma (Rakshit Shetty) and his dog Charlie. The film will release in five languages, with Prithviraj distributing in Malayalam and Karthik Subbaraj in Tamil. The film also stars Bobby Simha, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty and Danish Sait. It is produced under the banner Paramvah Studios.
Martin is an action entertainer directed by AP Arjun. The film stars Dhruva Sarja and Vaibhavi Shandilya. It is produced by Uday Mehta. It is expected to release in multiple languages in theatres on 30th September.
Acharya seems to be about two heroes who fight to save the people of Padaghattam, a temple town. Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are seen helping the people during different timelines but share a past together as comrades.

After introducing Rashmika Mandanna as Afreen, the makers have revealed the title of the film – Sita Ramam. The glimpse shows us that Afreen has a task to help Ram and Sita win a war. Dulquer Salmaan plays Ram and Mrunal Thakur plays Sita in what looks like a modern rendition of Ramayana.

Fingertip, a series about the destructive apps in the cyber world gets a second season. It is centered around a police investigation to nab a group of criminals who use technology to get away. It stars Prasanna, Aparana Balamurali, Regina Casandra, Vinoth Kishan, Kanna Ravi and Sharath Ravi. Shivakar Srinivasan, who helmed the first season, directs the second season as well.

Oh My Dog is centered around the bond between a small boy Arjun and his dog friend Simba. It stars Arnav Vijay, Arun Vijay, Vijayakumar, Mahima Nambiyar and Vinay Rai. It is produced by Jyotika & Suriya under the banner 2D Entertainments. The film will release in Tamil and Telugu on Amazon Prime Video on April 21.
1996 Dharmapuri is set in the backdrop of a village and is said to be based on true events. It focuses on the love story between the lead pair Gagaan Viharri and Aparna Devi and the related consequences. From the trailer, it looks like the film will deal with honour killing.

The theatrical teaser of Kantara, written and directed by Rishab Shetty, was screened along with K.G.F: Chapter 2 on April 14. It is about a community whose lives depend on the forest nearby. But the government officials step in and try to take control of the forest, resulting in a major fight between the people and the officials.

The film is a comedy entertainer centred around an unmarried cook in his 40s. The film is written and directed by Santhosh Ananddram. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. The music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
Jayaram is a doting father who has lost his job in Dubai and returned to Kerala. Devika Sanjay plays the daughter of Jayaram and Meera Jasmine. Makal shows the beautiful bond between a father and a daughter and explores the changing dimensions of the relationship.
Makal is directed by Sathyan Anthikad. The film also stars Sreenivasan, Naslen, Innocent and Sidhique in supporting roles. It is produced under the banner of Central Productions.
Godse is an action thriller starring Satyadev and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The Gopi Ganesh directorial will release on May 20. The film also features Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Nagababu Konidela, Sijju Menon, Varghese and Prudhvi raj. It is produced by C Kalyan under the banner CK Screens.
Tharun Moorthy had a successful run with his debut directorial Operation Java in 2021. His sophomore film is Saudi Vellaka. The film stars Lukman Lukku, Vincy Aloshious, Kumar Sethu, Binu Pappu and Devi Varma. The makers have announced that the film will hit the theatres on May 20 with a release poster featuring the lead characters. It is produced by Sandip Senan.
Panthrand is directed by Leo Thaddeus. It features Shine Tom Chacko, Vinayakan, Dev Mohan, Lal and Sohan Seenulal. The music is composed by Alphons Joseph. The film is produced by Victor Abraham under the banner of Skypass Entertainment. It is scheduled to release on June 10.
Yaanai starring Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar, directed by Hari, is expected to the screens on June 17. It was earlier scheduled to release on May 6 but has been rescheduled.
