Will Next Year Belong to Shah Rukh Khan’s Kids?

Next year may end up being particularly special for Shah Rukh Khan — not as an actor, but as a father. According to a Mid-Day report, Suhana Khan will make her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film The Archies while Aryan Khan is working on a web series with a team of writers at Red Chillies Entertainment for his debut venture. 

The show Aryan is developing will reportedly look at the Indian entertainment industry and the highs and lows of stardom. Although fictional, the inspiration for the stories are the lives of real actors. Aryan will be behind the camera, according to the report. If all goes as per plan, Aryan's web series should go on floors by mid-2023. 

Last year, Netflix had a show on the workings of Bollywood titled Call My Agent: Bollywood, which was directed by Shaad Ali. The show was the Indian adaptation of a French show titled Call My Agent, which looked at the workings of the film industry in Europe. Call My Agent: Bollywood had actors like Jackie Shroff, Nandita Das, Dia Mirza and Ali Fazal appear as themselves. While the French show received a lot of love from both critics and audiences, the Indian adaptation did not fare as well.
