Victim Trailer Talk: Four Victims Battle For Life In A Race Against Time

Following Meme Boys, which releases on July 22, and TamilRockerz (streaming from August 19), the next SonyLIV Originals in Tamil is the four-part anthology thriller Victim.

Exploring stories of four different victims, the anthology stars Nasser, Thambi Ramaiah, Natraj (Natty), Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalaiyarasan, Guru Somasundaram, Prasanna, Amala Paul, Krish, and others. The trailer opens with Prasanna's voice-over, "You won't believe even if God comes down, you will believe only if he shows you a few magic tricks, right?"

Set against the backdrop of a hotel room, farmland, an apartment, and a horror villa, the anthology traces the lives of four people, all of whom deal with different kinds of predators. While Priya Bhavani Shankar battles a ghost-esque villain, Amala Paul fights a killer (Prasanna) who threatens to shoot her with a Remington sniper. Thambi Ramaiah accidentally meets a godman (Nasser) who has lived for over 400 years. The latter even knows that Thambi Ramaiah was born a mosquito in his previous birth. But is he a guardian angel or a trickster? In another part, Kalaiyarasan seems to play a ruthless landlord.

Rajesh M's segment is titled Mirrage, Chimbudevan has helmed the narrative Kottai Pakku Vathalum..Mottai Maadi Sitharum!, Pa Ranjith has directed Dhammam and Venkat Prabhu is behind Confession.

The sleekly cut trailer, background score, and blood-splattered poster pique viewers' curiosity. Victim, which goes with the tagline "Who is next?", is slated to stream on SonyLIV from August 5.
