Directed by Jeo Baby, The Great Indian Kitchen (2021) starring Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu received critical acclaim. The Tamil remake of the film, titled the same, features Aishwarya Rajesh and Rahul Ravindran in the lead roles.

The film follows the story of a newly-married woman. Though she is a dancer by profession, she is restricted to the cramped kitchen space, serving her husband and father-in-law. Her in-laws force her to work continuously at home and do not allow her to find a job. For instance, they have gas stove and washing machine at their house but her father-in-law insists that she uses firewood to cook and wash clothes by hand. The Great Indian Kitchen portrays the struggles faced by women in Indian households.

R Kannan of Settai (2013) fame has helmed the film and Jerry Silvester Vincent has composed the music. The Great Indian Kitchen Tamil also stars Yogi Babu, Kalairani, and Poster Nandakumar.

Vineeth Sreenivasan's Mukundan Unni Associates

When advocate Mukundan Unni does not get enough cases even after working hard and consistently for years, Unni decides to change his ways, but with wicked plans. He starts to create and hide evidences for cases and schemes to make his way up the ladder, but this is depicted comically. Vineeth Sreenivasan plays the grey-shaded Mukundan Unni. He says, "There are only two kinds of people in the world, the exploiters and the exploited - I have decided to be the former."

Directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, this comedy entertainer is slated to hit the theatres on November 11. It co-stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sudhi Koppa, Tanivi Ram and Jagadeesh. Produced by Joy Movie Productions, the film has music by Sibi Mathew Alex.
