Yashoda Trailer Talk: Samantha Battles A Surrogacy Scam

Samantha's Yashoda generated a pan-Indian hype with leading stars from several industries unveiling the trailer. The trailer was launched by Vijay Devarakonda in Telugu, Suriya in Tamil, Rakshit Shetty in Kannada, Dulquer Salmaan in Malayalam and Varun Dhawan in Hindi.

Slated to hit the theatres on November 11, Samantha plays Yashoda, a surrogate mother in this thriller. We are introduced to a medical agency who hire women as surrogate mothers and pay them a king's ransom in exchange. "The baby you are carrying will go to the home of a billionaire," Varalakshmi Sarathkumar tells Yashoda in the trailer. Yashoda also falls in love with a doctor while she is in the institution.

Everything seems to be alright until one day when one of the surrogate mother faints and is taken for treatment, only to not return. Suspicious of the happenings, Yashoda hunts for truth and is shocked to uncover a surrogacy scam. What's new in the world of medical crimes? How will Yashoda fight it alone?

Helmed by Hari and Harish, the film has a powerful score composed by Mani sharma. It co-stars Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj.
