Sita Ramam Teaser Talk: The Journey Of A Romance Across Boundaries

The teaser of Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming film Sita Ramam promises the story of a romance set amidst a visual spectacle. The year is 1965 and Indian soldier Lieutenant Ram is stationed in Kashmir, when he strikes a romance with Sita Mahalakshmi (Mrunal Thakur).

Just when Ram begins to miss the company of human interaction and people's warmth, he gets a mystery letter that he races to open. The minute-long teaser, which expertly lenses gorgeous locales, piques interest about a mysterious period romance, which is centered around the charm of handwritten letters.

The film, which will be released in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil on August 5, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, the film has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The film also has cinematography by PS Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna.
