Enemy Trailer Talk: Vishal and Arya Spar In An Action Thriller

"Do you know who is the world's most dangerous enemy? It is your friend who knows everything about you," said the teaser of the Vishal-Arya starrer Enemy. The film's trailer, which was released today, offers a deeper view into that idea.

The trailer shows two boys — younger versions of the characters played by Vishal and Arya — training in various activities like running, boxing, shooting etc. in Tamilnadu. They are raised and trained by the fathers played by Thambi Ramaiah and Prakash Raj. As they grow up, the film shifts to Singapore, where the big action set pieces and dance numbers are shot.

Enemy is written and directed by Anand Shankar, dialogues by Shan Karuppusamy, music by Thaman, cinematography by RD Rajashekar and editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta. The film is produced by S Vinod Kumar of Mini Studios.

Enemy stars Vishal, Arya, Prakash Raj, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Mamta Mohandas and Mirnalini Ravi. Vishal was last seen in Chakra. He has a slew of upcoming releases such as Veerame Vaagai Soodum and Laththi, in addition to his directorial debut Thupparivaalan 2. Arya was last seen in the horror-comedy Aranmanai 3, before which he was in the critically acclaimed Pa Ranjith film Sarpatta Parambarai.

Enemy is scheduled to release in theatres for Diwali on November 4, clashing with the Rajinikanth-Nayantara starrer Annaththe. Also releasing in the Diwali week are Suriya's Jai Bhim on Amazon Prime Video and MGR Magan featuring Sasikumar and Sathyaraj on Disney+ Hotstar.
