At the start of the teaser we see a police vehicle being tracked by people living in a forest. Wielding a wooden log as a weapon, we see a shot of the back of a man (Allu Arjun's Pushpa Raj?), as splinters fly around him in all directions. It looks like he is doing something without the government knowing. It seems like he is a red sandalwood smuggler.
We get a mythical-looking image of a man with hands tied behind his back and face covered by a hood. We get a few tantalizing glimpses of the face, and then a gunshot, people running, and then we get the first look of Allu Arjun in the teaser. He's riding a bike across the river, this time drops of water flying in all directions.
It looks like he could be a lorry driver, but he's also shown navigating a river at night, dressed like a dacoit. We get fast-paced shots of action. Pushpa Raj is even beating up a cop in one of them.
It looks like the story of a conflict between a forest brigand and the cops. The visual of a man with hands tied behind the back keeps coming back. Near the end of the trailer, Pushpa uses himself as a kind of bullet. Over a series of shots, he is shown to be carrying out a cracking fight with his hands tied!
A prelude to this introduction to Pushpa Raj was released a few days back to announce the teaser.
Fahadh Faasil (who recently starred in Joji and Irul) plays the antagonist in the film, though he isn't seen in the teaser. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna (recently seen in Sulthan), Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Vennela Kishore. The film is directed by Sukumar with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
