Operation Romeo Trailer Talk: A Romantic Drive Turned Nightmare

It was supposed to be a good day, until it wasn't. A young couple (Sidhant Gupta and Vedika Pinto) were having a seemingly perfect day on the road celebrating the girl's birthday when a moment of intimacy inside the car led to two men, calling themselves sub-inspectors, moral policing them. While they ruefully bullied the couple, one of the men (Sharad Kelkar) inched uncomfortably close to the girl. Threatening them for a bribe, the young boy was then forced to go out of the car to the ATM – moments that led to something gruesome. The trailer shows his shocked expression as he ran back to the car, as the man's eerie voice echoed, 'I guess she never met a real man before this.'

The incident turns their lives around, making the boy seek revenge. He tracks the man and his family, and is also seen following his wife (Bhumika Chawla). All he now wants to know is, 'What happened that night in the car?'

Co-produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia's Friday Filmworks alongside Reliance Entertainment, the film – a remake of the Malayalam-language romantic thriller Ishq – has been directed by Shashant Shah. Starring Sidhant Gupta, Vedika Pinto, Sharad Kelkar and Bhumika Chawla, it releases theatrically on April 22.
