The quick 25 second teaser cuts between a land and sea that is set for a battle. With cannons and soldiers making formations, a resistance rises from the people of the land. Disappointments are seen on both ends but in the end, we get a glimpse of Mohanlal driving a sword through a Portuguese soldier. This may suggest that the war was won. The teaser only gives us an idea of the story’s setting but nothing in terms of a plot.
From a trailer that was released last year, we know that Marakkar is at war with the Portuguese, a war they must win at any cost. He might be a wanted man in the eyes of his enemies, but he is loved by the people of the land.
