King of Kotha Trailer Talk: Dulquer Salmaan Packs A Punch As The Titular King

The makers of the Dulquer Salman starrer King of Kotha released the trailer of the film on August 10. The much-anticipated crime thriller also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Chemban Vinod Jose, ‘Dancing Rose’ Shabeer, Anikha Surendran, and Prasanna among others.

Throughout the trailer of King of Kotha, we are shown the aggressive side of Dulquer Salmaan’s Raju Madrassi. He is an avid footballer, with a mural of the legendary Diego Maradona in his house. He turns to a world of crime as he has only one goal: to be as big of a gangster as his father. The trailer is cut fast, introducing a variety of characters who would be Raju’s adversaries. We jump from Chemban Vinod Jose to Shabeer to Prasanna. We also see Raju’s possible fall due to his excessive lifestyle. Spiced with impressive action set-pieces and also a romantic subplot, King of Kotha is a crime action entertainer to look out for. The trailer also throws a small twist at the end, hinting at DQ possibly playing a double role.

King of Kotha is directed by Abhilash Joshiy with a script written by Abhilash N Chandran. The film is set to release in August for Onam.
