Christopher Teaser Talk: Mammootty Is A Cop With A Troubled Past

Mammootty plays the titular character, a vigilante cop, in Chirstopher. He is a no-nonsense cop and takes charge of an important case. But the teaser hints that he has suffered personal loss. Vinay Rai, who plays the antagonist Sitaram Trimurthi, tells Mammootty's Christopher, "Losing a loved one will drive you insane. Your history says that."

The film goes with the tagline: Biography of a vigilante cop. The sleek thriller also has montages of Mammootty using different guns. The background is often filled with newspaper clippings of "acid attack" reports, hinting that Christopher might be taking up a similar case.

The film co-stars Sarath Kumar, Siddique, Sneha, Amala Paul, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Shine Tom Chacko. Bankrolled by RD Illuminations LLP, Unnikrishnan B has directed the film and Udaykrishna has written the story. The film has music by Justin Varghese.
