The trailer of Madhuri Dixit's hugely awaited Marathi debut, Bucket List shows her as a homemaker recovering from a heart transplant. She finds a new purpose in her life when she decides to complete the bucket list of her donor (a girl called Sai).

Dixit was last seen in Gulaab Gang (2014). Her character Madhura Sane appears to be a woman who, having made peace with the patriarchal gender roles set by Maharashtrian society, opens herself to new experiences after finding Sai's diary. Thereon she can be seen learning how to ride a bike, getting drunk at a nightclub whilst handcuffed, fighting with the kitchen staff of a restaurant, and practicing dance for a live performance.

The trailer features a cameo by Ranbir Kapoor and other actors such as Sumit Raghwan, Renuka Shahane and Dilip Prabhavalkar.

Bucket List has been directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, and produced by Dark Horse Cinemas, Dar Motion Pictures and Blue Mustang Creations. It is presented by Dharma Productions and will release on 25 May.
