After covering the three other South Indian industries, Amazon Prime Video enters the Kannada direct-to-OTT market with Law. Starring first timer Ragini Prajwal, the briskly-cut trailer offers little in terms of information expect that it will be a fast-paced legal thriller with an extended portion set within a courtroom. From first viewing, the trailer hints at a film about a law student who fights for justice after getting entangled in a crime.

This is Amazon's first Kannada film to release directly on the platform after their ventures in Tamil (Ponmagal Vandhal, Penguin), Telugu (Penguin), Malayalam (Sufiyum Sujathayum) and Gulabo Sitabo (Hindi).
The courtroom drama is being directed by Raghu Sarmath and produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and M Govinda. Other cast members include Mukhyamantri Chandru, Achyuth Kumar and Sudharani.
The film will release on Amazon on Friday, July 17.
