So here’s what we know from the end of season 2 of Netflix’s sensational marriage of responsible sex and irresponsible-ish teenagers in a British fictional town. We are in Moordale High School. Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey) are at loggerheads. They were in love, sort of, very much, with Otis dispensing sex advice based on scraps he learnt from his mother’s profession as a sex educator. Maeve and Otis together create a secret sex education empire at their high school. Otis’ best friend, the flaming and fabulous Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) is in love with a closeted masc-man.
This season, the school dubbed as a “Sex School” is up for an image revamp, with a new head teacher trying to control the student body, campaigns to stop the students from having sex including videos of floating penises attacking a man. Will Otis and Maeve resuscitate the sex education empire? Will Otis get rid of that hideous moustache? Will Eric’s love hold?
Also starring Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, and eternal goddess Gillian Anderson, the third season premieres on September 17 on Netflix.
