Dasvi Trailer Talk: Abhishek Bachchan Plays A Politician In Prison, Preparing For His 10th Boards

Dasvi, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur is a social comedy about Ganga Ram Chaudhary, an illiterate, corrupt politician who, when jailed, decides to use his time to study and pass the 10th grade examinations.

Abhishek Bachchan plays the Jat politician, while Yami Gautam plays the role of an IPS officer. Nimrat Kaur plays Bachchan's feisty wife in the film, who now has to take over his political position while he is in jail. 

Written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair, and Sandeep Leyzell, directed by debutante Tushar Jalota, presented by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bake My Cake Films, Dasvi will be streaming on Jio Cinema and Netflix from 7th April.
