Cobra Teaser Talk: Vikram Is A Math Genius Who Doubles Up As A Criminal

Chiyaan Vikram's much-awaited Cobra is slated to hit the theatres on August 31. Ahead of its release, the makers released its teaser on Tuesday, introducing us to a world of numbers. "Every problem has a mathematical solution," says Vikram's Cobra, a genius mathematician-cum-criminal.

He puts his mathematical skills to commit crimes easily. But he is also shown as a teacher who is awarded the "Best teacher award". Many children seem to love his math tuition sessions. There is also a romantic track that plays out between Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty.

Former cricket player Irfan Pathan, who makes his acting debut with Cobra, essays the villain role. "He is playing with numbers, right? I will give him more numbers to play this time," threatens Irfan at a conference taking place in a foreign country. The action then shifts across countries as Cobra fights his opponents.

As the police thrash him, Cobra laughs victoriously and the power-packed teaser concludes with a thumping score by AR Rahman. Cobra will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Cobra is directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by SS Lalit Kumar. The film co-stars K.S. Ravikumar, Roshan Mathew, Anandraj, Robo Shankar, Mia George, Mirnalini Ravi and Meenakshi Govindrajan. While Harish Kanna has handled the camera, Bhuvan Srinivasan is behind the film's editing.
