Taish Trailer Talk: A Stylistic First Look At Bejoy Nambiar’s Innovative ZEE5 Revenge Drama

The trailer of Taish, the latest from Bejoy Nambiar, is here. At at time when trailers have become something of a repetitive tick-box exercise, Taish stands apart with a more stylistic approach, using split screens to show flashes of simultaneous moments. Taish will release as both a feature film and a 6-episode web series, making it one of the first to go this route.

This is the story of two friends (played by Jim Sarbh and Pulkit Samrat) whose lives change forever when a past secret (along with a hitman played by Harshvardhan Rane),  comes back to haunt them, setting in motion a violent chain of events.

The trailer begins amidst smiling faces and celebration cantered on a wedding. Things take a turn leading to necks breaking, shots being fired and faces pummelled. We also get glimpses of the wider cast which includes Kriti Kharbanda, Saurabh Sachdeva and Soni's Saloni Batra.

Described by as a revenge drama, Taish is written and directed by Bejoy Nambiar and will  be releasing on ZEE5 on October 29th in both a series and feature film format. You can watch the trailer below:
