Pushpa Trailer Talk: The Careful Hindi Dub Of The Allu Arjun-Starrer Announces Its Pan Indian Intention

Red sandalwood is being smuggled by those living in the forests of the Seshachalam Hills, in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Pushpa: The Rise pits these forest dwellers — Allu Arjun's character, Pushpa Raj, among them — against men with power and money.

A bald Fahadh Faasil (fresh off the OTT stardom during the pandemic with C U Soon, Irul, Joji, Malik), in his Telugu debut plays Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS, the antagonist to Pushpa Raj. He is introduced in the last moment of the trailer — a decision to keep his character under the wraps for as long as possible. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna (Sulthan), Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Vennela Kishore. The film is directed by Sukumar (Rangasthalam) with music by Devi Sri Prasad. Shot in Telugu, the film is dubbed in all the other South Indian languages and Hindi, announcing its pan Indian intention.

The Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam trailers were released earlier. The dub of the Hindi trailer, which just dropped, is careful in trying to seamlessly match Telugu and Hindi.

The first installment of the two-part film, Pushpa: The Rise releases on December 17, simultaneously in Telugu and the dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. You can watch the Hindi dubbed trailer here.
