Netflix’s Guilty Trailer Talk: Kiara Advani Stars In Another ‘What Really Happened That Night’ Thriller

The trailer for Netflix India's latest original film Guilty is here.

Starring Kiara Advani, the film is the maiden project of Dharma Productions new digital content arm Dharmatic.

From director Ruchi Narain and writers Atika Chohan and Kanika Dhillon, Guilty sees Advani star as Nanki, the songwriter of a college band made up of her and three guys, who she describes as her 'tribe'. The group is having the time of their lives, until one fateful night – when Nanki's bandmate and boyfriend VJ is accused of rape. So follows an investigation and public trial of what actually went down that evening. Was it rape or consensual? Is VJ being wrongly accused or is he the 'upper-class English medium brat' who took what he wanted as he's being made out to be?

Between VJ, Nanki and the accuser, we're told one of the three is hiding something that holds the key to the truth. Guilty adds to the recent string of 'What really happened that night' thrillers such as last year's Article 375, Dharma's own Ittefaaq (2017) and Hotstar series Criminal Minds (2018) among others.

Following her work in films such as Lust Stories, Kabir Singh, and most recently Good Newwz, Guilty will see Advani in a solo lead role for the first in a feature film.

Guilty releases on March 6. You can see the trailer below:
