Mission Mangal Teaser Talk: Meet The Heroes Behind The Launch Of India’s First Satellite To Mars

The teaser for the much-awaited ensemble drama Mission Mangal is here.

In the same vein as Hidden Figures, Mission Mangal follows the stories of the real men and women responsible for the successful launch of India's first satellite to Mars.

The 45-second teaser begins moments before lift-off. Against the background voiceover counting down to the launch, we are first introduced, of course, to Akshay Kumar's Rakesh Dhawan, head of mission control, initiating the launch in the control room alongside Vidya Balan. What follows are glimpses of the lives of the remaining lead cast made up of Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kriti Kulhari and H. R. Dattatrey, clearly stressing on the people behind the historic achievement.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, the Fox Star Studio production releases on 15^th August.
