Loveratri Trailer Talk: Salman Khan’s Brother-In-Law And Stunts With Dandiya Sticks

Loveratri is the launch vehicle of Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, and it features him as some sort of a local superhero with some sort of a magic wand. Actually a garba teacher wielding a dandiya stick in Ahmedabad. His name is Sushrut, and he meets an NRI-type girl (Warina Hussain) who visits the city before the festival, and impresses the hell out of her with his garba skills — look out for the scene where he manages to fall and keep a smiling face at the same time after the girl accidentally hits him with a dandiya stick.

The film, directed by Abhiraj Minawala, revolves around 9 days of Navratri celebrations.

Ram Kapoor plays Sushrut's big, boisterous father who advises Sushrut to pursue the girl. He brings his a-game to the nightclubs and streets of London. There he has to overcome challenges posed by her father, played by Ronit Roy, who says "Ek Indian baap apni beti ke liye kisi bhi hadd tak jaa sakta hai" and is seen breaking a limousine with a cricket bat.

The trailer also features a surprise cameo by Arbaaz and Sohail Khan riffing on their turn as the Rajput cowboy duo in Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na–which might turn out to be the best thing from the film.

Produced by Salma Khan, Loveratri releases on 5 October.
