Trailer Talk: Kaali Peeli Tales, On Amazon Mini TV, Explores Themes Of Romance And Marriage

Amazon Mini TV's new short film anthology revolves around complex tales of love. The trailer shows us glimpses of funny, puzzling and sometimes, painful relationships. There are Vinay Pathak and Soni Razdan – two parents about to meet their daughter's boyfriend for the first time. Maanvi Gagroo plays a married woman with a crush on her gay intern. We see Sayani Gupta and Gauahar Khan, wrestling with themselves and their relationships. In another short, a couple reunites after many years, and talk about how they haven't changed. The anthology is named Kaali Peeli Tales because each part ends in the unmistakable black and yellow taxis that are synonymous with Mumbai.

All the parts of Kaali Peeli Tales have been directed by Adeeb Rais. The anthology also features performances by  Sharib Hashmi, Hussain Dalal, Priyanshu Painyuli, Sadia Siddiqui, and Tanmay Dhananya. Kaali Peeli Tales is produced by Madmidaas Films and will be streaming on Amazon Mini TV from 20th August.
