Indoo Ki Jawani Trailer Talk: Kiara Advani In A Rom-Com That Marries Cross Border Conflict And Tinder

The trailer for Indoo Ji Jawani has arrived. The Kiara Advani-starrer follows 'Ghaziabad ki glam girl' Indira Gupta, who's single and navigating the world of dating apps in search of the one. She's aided by her gyaan-spewing best friend Sonal (Mallika Dua).

You'd think it's a fairly straightforward fluffy rom-com at this point. But things take a sharp left turn half way through the trailer when a Pakistani man (Student Of The Year 2′s Aditya Seal), who appears to be on the run from the authorities, enters the picture. What follows is a steady stream of culture clash jokes based on Indo-Pak stereotypes.

From writer-director Abir Sengupta, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, Ryan Stephen, Niranjan Iyengar.
