Gali Guleiyan Trailer Talk: Trauma Of Childhood Abuse And Manoj Bajpayee Trapped In His Own Mind

A claustrophobic ghetto in Old Delhi which is like the Bhool Bhulaiyya. An oppressive father (Neeraj Kabi) who beats up his young son (Om Singh). A lost man (Manoj Bajpayee) wanders around helplessly, trying to reach out, but in vain. The walls through which he can hear the sound of childhood abuse seem impenetrable. He wants to save the child. Even his friend (Ranvir Shorey) doesn't seem to believe in him.

"It's you who wants to run away from this place," he tells him.

Bajpayee's character checks CCTV footage to see if the boy is real or is nothing but a manifestation of his childhood trauma. The surreal, disturbing trailer Dipesh Jain's Gali Guleiyan – In the Shadows plays out like a psychological horror film. Written by Jain, it also features Shahana Goswami. It is presented by John Abraham, and releases on 7 September.
