Dobaara Teaser Talk: Taapsee Pannu Reunites With Anurag Kashyap For A Curious New (Sci-Fi?) Project

The teaser for Anurag Kashyap's next is out. Titled Dobaara, the film stars Taapsee Pannu and sees her reuniting with the director after 2018's Manmarziyaan.

The intriguing teaser sees Taapsee (playing herself) slouching on her couch while reading what appear to be scripts, presumably trying to find her next project. She gives up in frustration and instructs her Alexa speaker to turn on the TV and put on "something that is different. Not the same old shit please. Something that is a little edgy… that surprises me".

The command leads to Anurag appearing on the TV, somehow conversing with her, to announce his next film. He vaguely describes the project (during which he refers to time travel), while she tries to understand how he's able to talk to her through the TV. All indications point to a sci-fi project, including the teaser's description:

One stormy night everything changed. Time, space, dimension and the universe. Set out on the journey of the unseen and unknown with us. Dobaaraa, a film that will make you wonder everything that revolves around you, questioning the reality that you are in.

It's not much to go on but it certainly has us thoroughly intrigued. There's no mention of a release date just yet (unless the title is an indication of a 2nd December release). Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, you can watch the teaser for the film below:
