Cheat India Trailer Talk: Emraan Hashmi’s Scamster Exposes Nation’s Educational Loopholes

After playing an honest salesman who fights a lone battle against a corrupt corporation in the recently released Tigers, Emraan Hashmi is back to playing a con-man in his new film Cheat India. Hashmi's character is a smooth schemer who gives guaranteed seats to students from wealthy families in top engineering and banking colleges in exchange for a large donation.

Like most movie con-artists he has a strong deluded ideology behind his deeds: he thinks of himself as some kind of a Robin Hood, who takes the money from the rich and gives it to the poor, talented students.

Directed by Soumik Sen (Gulaab Gang), the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Parveen Hashmi. It will release on January 25.
