Badhaai Do Trailer Talk: Rajkummar Rao And Bhumi Pednekar’s Characters Get Married, Stay Gay

While Badhaai Ho depicted desire among the elderly, Badhaai Do takes a stab at "lavender marriages" — a marriage of convenience to conceal the sexual orientation of one or both partners. In this case Bhumi Pednekar's character is a lesbian and Rajkummar Rao's is gay. 

The marriage of convenience soon begins to fall fray given the subsequent demands for children. The film also stars Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chaddha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitesh Pandey, Shashi Bhushan, Chum Darang and Deepak Arora. 

Co-directed by Kirti Nakhwa, and Prateek Vats, written by Akshat Ghildial, Suman Adhikary, and Harshavardhan Kulkarni, produced by Vineet Jain, and directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, the film releases theatrically on February 11.
