Akshay Kumar stars as the titular character, Bachchhan Pandey, a dreadful gangster from the small town of Baghwa. When he stumbles upon an aspiring director, Myra (Kriti Sanon), wanting to make a biopic on his life, he is instantly hooked to the prospect. He starts narrating his story, alongside his sidekicks, while Myra, who tries to find a silver lining in his otherwise fearful personality, finds none, finding more frightful truths instead. There begins a sequence of events that could lead to a potential disaster… or a superhit.
The trailer ends with Paandey saying that he’s not a bhai, he’s a Godfather.
