Aarya Trailer Talk: Sushmita Sen Runs Heroin Cartel In DisneyPlus Hotstar Show

A businessman (Chandrachur Singh) runs a lucrative illegal medicines trade, or so he thinks. He doesn't know that his colleagues are actually dealing in heroin. When he's shot and a massive consignment of the drug goes missing, it's up to his oblivious wife Aarya (Sushmita Sen) to step up and run the business, recoup its losses so she can pay off the other players in the drug trade, and try to figure who was behind the attack on her husband.

Turns out she's actually good at it. When asked why she didn't take over the business earlier, she replies, "Kyunki pehle danda mard sambhalta tha, bacche nahi."

Directed by Ram Madhvani, Aarya is based on the Dutch drama series Penoza. It drops on DisneyPlus Hotstar on June 19.
